New customers

GetBucks is an online lender and therefore you are required to register an account via our website (www.getbucks.com/ke), complete all necessary steps and website will determine how much bucks is available.
We need you to provide us with the following details ID number, cellphone number, email address, employer info, address and banking details.

We require the following documents to process your loan:.

  • Copy of your national ID
  • 2 months bank statement with a net pay of 15,000/= and above
  • Copy of your ATM card
  • Current payslip
  • Mpesa transaction summary reflecting the last six months. To obtain it kindly click on the link and register selfcare.safaricom.co.ke

You can access your profile on the website (www.getbucks.com/ke). You sign on with your username and password and click on the loans tab.

We offer a payment method of EFT and M-Pesa. With this two, you can select if we pay into your bank account or credit your M-Pesa from our shortcode.
EFT’s reflect the next day on weekdays and may take longer over the weekend as the banks are closed. Mpesa payments reflect immediately and we do payout on Saturdays.

As soon as your information is verified we’ll schedule your pay out. We send pay out requests to the banks daily, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm and M-PEsa throught the day as the loan requests are processed. On Saturdays we process online loans and payout via M-Pesa mostly to our existing clients. New applications might not be completely processed on Saturday as if we are unable to reach the clients employers as this is out of working hours for many companies.

At GetBucks we believe in trust and transparency. When you become a GetBucks customer your trust level determines the amount and term you qualify for. Over time you will qualify for more bucks, over a longer term and with discounted rates. Our trust levels are determined by your borrowing and repayment and also credit score.

All information between you and the GetBucks website is encrypted and secure.

Existing customers

You can access your profile on the website (www.getbucks.com) and dashboard will determine your available bucks.

GetBucks charges KES 300 for loan settlements. This applies to loans that have run for more than 6 months. You pay the amount via M-Pesa to our paybill 929111 and then send the transaction code to kenyainfo@getbucks.com requesting a statement. Please include your ID number with the email.
Alternatively you can call 0202434017/9 and request for a statement. You would then be requested to provide the M-Pesa transaction number for the statement request payment.

Your statement would be sent to you via email or sent to the branch closest to you for you to collect.

You can then pay in the amount to our GetBucks Bank Account as below

Or M-Pesa

Send the amount to paybill 929111 use your ID number as the account number.

We will debit your account on the selected pay date. You can update your pay date in your dashboard and we’ll call your employer to confirm the date is correct.

In the event of default by the Borrower, the full balance due under this agreement together with any penalty interest and all other charges and expenses owing to the Lender by the Borrower shall become immediately due and payable to the Lender, and without giving any notice to the Borrower or affecting any of the Lender’s rights under this agreement;

The following things might happen if you don’t repay your loan on time:

  • You will be locked out of your GetBucks dashboard
  • We will report your non-payment to multiple credit bureaus which will negatively impact your credit score
  • We will follow a standard third-party collections process which will ensure extra costs
  • Possible legal action

Balance enquiries can be obtained via our website when you logon to your loan profile or you can call our head office or nearest branch for an update.

Profile can be suspended due to the following reason.

  • Arrears on your existing account/s.
  • Disputed transactions as per your bank statement
  • Fraudulent application or documents
  • If you have applied for Debt Review / Sequestration / Administration
  • Voluntary request from the client
